Every blogger wants to upgrade the blog to make it look more professional and clear for the readers. I also belong to such persons who try to do their best to get the desired result. Though the older my blog gets, the more difficult it becomes to make some changes which could affect the whole content. Of course, programs making backups of the blog are lifesavers, but sometimes there are changes to be made and you cannot save all things the way they used to be. I personally had a little issue which I didn´t like at all. For sure, many of you didn´t even notice it, but I hated the way the links to my blog posts looked like. I couldn´t make a direct link to any blog post because the date of publication for every post used to be a part of a permalink (which I couldn’t change).
After a long consideration, I decided to change the way permalinks on my blog look like. Though I knew that it would cause the loss of all social media reposts and likes. As all links (more than 300 blog posts) had been changed all reposts on Facebook, Google +, and other platforms don´t have the right path anymore. It means that clicking them will bring you to a nonexistent page. Of course, it makes me sad to realize that so many reposts are not active anymore. Still, these changes must have been made. Happily, there is still a possibility to get to the desired post simply by going to the home page of my blog. So, don´t be surprised if you won´t find some posts by using Facebook and Co. The good news is that from today´s post on all direct links will be correct.
Back to summer – a feminine outfit on Mallorca
Let´s talk about something more pleasant. Though the October in Germany was kind of mild and even warm and sunny from time to time, still, I miss summer incredibly. It would be so nice to spend some days in the sun. As many of us don´t have such a chance at the moment, I decided to share with you the third and last outfit I had shot on the Spanish Isle of Mallorca (other Mallorca outfits can be found here and here). Frankly, this shooting and the floral print dress became the most special ones for me. When I saw this dress by Zara for the first time, I directly imagined myself wearing it on Mallorca. My favorite sandals by Gucci created such a great combination to it, both in color and stylistically. This outfit was practically the first one I packed for my stay in Palma.
Shooting this look on the Spanish Isle was an unforgettable and great experience. We chose a narrow, cobbled street with numerous tiny shops and flowers everywhere. It was one of the traditional Spanish streets with the unique Mediterranean spirit. When I look at these pictures I get back to Spain and summer. I hope they will give you a little bit of the warmth and sun energy as well.
