One says that the one who tries to learn about other countries and their cultures, in the end, learns more about himself as a human being. I absolutely agree with this statement as I see myself, the more I travel, the more I understand who I am. Today I want to share with you the second part of my trip to Bangkok. The first part you can find here. This huge city gives you so many opportunities for nice shopping, great food, and entertainment.

Food

When I looked through the best pictures I had taken in Bangkok, I noticed how many different dishes I photographed. There were so many, so I decided to put only a few of them. Generally, you can find every kind of food in Bangkok, it doesn’t matter, whether you prefer Thai, Japanese, German, or American kitchen. There is absolutely no problem to find a restaurant according to your liking. Thais like Japanese kitchen a lot, so I enjoyed it too almost every day, as I am a huge fan of it. I will probably never forget the salmon sashimi I ate there as it had been so delicious.

Fruits and vegetables in Bangkok deserve to be mentioned as well. Everything I ate there was so delicious and juicy that I started every morning with a plate full of melons, papayas, and watermelons.

Shopping without limits

Though I live in a quite big town in Germany and my hometown in Russia is even bigger than Düsseldorf, still, Bangkok is something extremely different. All the shopping options there make the city a shopping paradise. There are many huge shopping malls in the city, each of them has 5 or 6 floors and you can spend there almost the whole day without visiting all stores. You can get everything there, chain labels, luxury labels, movies, restaurants and much more. Everywhere in shopping malls in Bangkok, you can see creative or just sweet figures, stylish decorations, and flowers. Thai people pay much attention to the details and love decorating everything. So, you can find such crazy things like a huge leather cactus, a dog made of paper or a plush rabbit in the middle of a store.

It doesn´t matter what label you prefer, you will definitely find it in Bangkok. Such luxury stores as Chanel and Dior are situated near such budget labels as Zara or H&M. Still, there are many Thai designers who create stylish and beautiful clothes and accessories but unfortunately are not so popular in Europe. Being in Bangkok, take a look at them, you won´t regret it.

We had been in three shopping malls in Bangkok, Central World, Siam Paragon and MBK, of course, there are many more of them in the city, but if you have a chance to visit at least one, I can highly recommend any of the three mentioned above.

All girls who are obsessed with makeup and beauty products will find everything they dream of in Bangkok. Almost every makeup label which is hyped on YouTube can be easily found at every Sephora store. Living in Germany I need to order the products I like from the US without any chance to see or to test them. In Bangkok, you can find everything from Kat von D to Make-up forever. Of course, I couldn´t miss a chance and purchased some products I wanted to possess. So, there are some nice beauty reviews which will be on my blog soon enough.

Entertainment

There is always action in Bangkok, so you can find an entertainment to your liking even at night. We visited a night market where we tried home-made traditional dishes. Tents with foods were located near the tents where one could get a manicure or even a hair styling. It sounds crazy for us Europeans, but it´s absolutely normal for Thais.
