Hi, beauties! In the time when numerous fashion blogs are getting filled with cozy fall or transition outfits, I still want to keep summer vibes on mine a little bit longer. Though my last outfits here were pretty light, they all can be transformed into transition ones. All you need to do is throw a cozy knit cardigan or an elegant trench coat above them and that´s it. Unfortunately, it´s quite fresh in Germany already, so I add some warmer clothes to the cargo dress you´re seeing in this post. The thing is that I love it and wear it a lot even now, in the beginning of October. Why should it be a cargo dress? Well, let´s make it clear.
A cargo dress – a staple for every season
For sure you already know that I dig the cargo style. Many people think that this style is all about sports and the only thing you can change its vibe is adding some heels to make it look sexier. On one side, it´s true. Find an outfit inspiration of how to achieve it here. Still, the cargo style doesn´t mean only pants and overalls. There are plenty of options including skirts and dresses.
I decided for this particular dress deliberately to show you how easy it is to create an elegant look staying just in the cargo style. Earthy neutrals are great for such outfits. That´s why I picked beige and white. Keeping your outfit monochromatic, you should avoid being boring. The easiest way to do it is playing with different textures and/or slightly different shades of the main color of your choice. I chose a silk beige dress and paired it with beige suede sandals. The dress has enough details, so I minimized my accessories and added only a bag. The half-round bag decorated with pearls and a wooden ring fits just perfectly the mood of the outfit. I also like that depending on how I wear this bag the whole appearance of the outfit changes. Check out both versions of the bag hanging across my body and being held in the hand. Such cargo dresses are perfect for slim women because they visually make the proportions more defined and the whole silhouette more feminine and curvier. If you want to set an accent on your waist, this is the perfect way to make it. Patchpockets on the chest are also amazing to make your breasts look way bigger. It´s basically a magic wand for all who have smaller breasts. I personally use this trick a lot.
If you don´t wear high-heels or simply want a more dynamic and comfortable outfit based on a cargo dress, you can always add trendy chunky sneakers cause such dresses are made to go with these looks too.
