Recently, I read a blog post concerning one of the most viral and disgusting topics at the moment. Though I really want my blog to remain an unpolitical and a non-social-sexual place, this time I decided to make an exception. Frankly, I have no right words concerning all these sexual harassment scandals spreading all over the world. The first huge scandal started with the Hollywood film director Weinstein. After him, other dirty stories concerning Kevin Spacey, Dustin Hoffman, and many European politicians went viral. This caused a huge wave of hatred and rich and famous became nothing in just one moment. These scandals and many peoples’ reaction showed me that many of us still see only black and white or good and bad. The truth remains somewhere in the middle.

Harassment of any kind is bad and disgusting. Though supposed statements concerning sexual harassment are much worse as they can ruin a person’s career and the whole life in a second. According to the jurisdiction and the presumption of innocence, one is considered innocent unless proven guilty. Of course, there are many men and women who behave incorrectly and allowing themselves too much or even sexually abuse others. Unfortunately, such persons have always existed, and they always will. Interestingly, in these sexual harassment scandals “victims” of such deeds have kept silence for many years. Many of them also don´t have any slight prove to what they claim. We all can understand that one can decide against going to the police, but everyone would have told about such a horrific experience to their best friends and family members. At least, I would definitely have done this. Today it got way too easy to make such a statement. It turned into a strange trend in Hollywood.

Obviously, it´s enough to touch a person’s the hand to claim it to be a sexual harassment. Well, if it really is a sexual harassment, I would have to sue at least 20 persons or more. The worst thing is the effect of the “sexual harassment scandal” in today´s social world. Things, like opening the door for a woman or speaking to her or even looking at her, could now be understood as a sexual harassment. Well, in my understanding all these things have always been a gentleman-like behavior.

Don´t get me wrong, I absolutely don´t tolerate men who are sure they can do everything they like with us, women. Though mere claims, lies and false statements without any evidence can´t be believed so easily. Unfortunately, today everyone can make such a statement via Twitter or YouTube just because he or she wants some publicity. It´s a fact that both Weinstein and Spacey had many skeletons in the closet, though I´m sure that many “victims” of their deeds are people who want their limelight. Finally, the actresses in Hollywood “who had been harassed” are totally in.

Well, I think that added enough pepper to this blog post, though the message should be very simple. We all shouldn´t judge too fast and be skeptical about the things we hear and see every day in order to be able to see the truth behind them. Let´s talk about a more pleasant topic, namely my today´s outfit. I decided for a combination of pieces which balance each other. The black high-waisted pants look very classy and would perfectly suit the office. To make them look more casual I chose an oversized shirt with stars embroidery. Black pumps with trendy kitten-heels combine the classical and the trendy because of the statements on each side. It says, “unstoppable & ambitious” which looks very cool and feministic. Though the main eye-catcher of the outfit is an extraordinary clutch in form of a milk bottle. It sets a great colorful and stylish accent to the whole look.
