The Body Shop recently launched a new face mask line. There are five different face masks which are supposed to help against different problems such as dryness, irritations, pimples, stress and much more. The best thing about these masks is that they are 100% vegan and mostly natural. They do not contain any parabens, sulfates or mineral oil. I just couldn’t resist and purchased three of them. I decided for a detox-mask, a nourishing and an energizing mask. As for their design, they are really pretty. They are put in a black glass jar, which looks stylish and qualitative. But the most important thing is the content of the jar, so let´s talk about masks and their work.
The „Himalayan Charcoal“ detox – face mask contains the white mud, bamboo charcoal, active exfoliating green tea leaves and tea tree oil which purify, exfoliate and cleanse the skin deep to the pores. This mask stings the face while having it on the skin but this is how it works. After using this mask, I love the way my skin feels and looks. It is smooth and renewed. The only thing about this product that you should know is that it´s very stubborn to remove from your face. I needed a while to get all the rests off.
The „Amazonian acai“ face mask will your loyal friend in case your skin is stressed and exhausted. It includes such powerful ingredients as acai berry extract, guarana seed extract and organic babassu oil exfoliate, wake up and lighten up the skin. Within minutes the skin appears revived and energized. I use this mask every week-end and I love my skin after having used it.
The third face mask “Ethiopian honey“ not only smells tasty but also nourishes the skin. It hydrates the skin and improves it with every new application. It will definitely help you if you know what tightness and dryness is. In this case it will be your mask.
The best thing about these face masks by the body shop is the fact that they can be applied both separately and together. That means that if your T-Zone is oily you can apply the detox – mask on this face area and the nourishing mask on the parts you wanna hydrate.
Conclusion:
I am so happy to have all three face masks by the body shop as they are really good. They nourish, exfoliate and cleanse my skin naturally. The ingredients of the masks are mostly natural without any parabens, mineral oil or paraffines. Each face mask costs 18 EUR. for 75 ml. which is a good price for such a nice product.
