Fashion favorite of the month: a silk scarf by Gucci

Today, I want to share with you my personal fashion piece of the month which I had been looking for a while and finally found it. I´m speaking of a silk scarf from the spring 18 collection by Gucci. This scarf made my heart beat faster. I rave about bags and scarfs by this brand so much. To me, these items are so unique and always recognizable because of their sophisticated design. Last spring, I also found an eye-catching double-sided wool scarf by Gucci. One side is completely covered with rose flowers and another has the traditional Gucci print on it. This time, I fell in love with the pieces from the “blind for love” collection. Though the name is pretty romantic, this collection is very different from the flowery topic of last spring. The collection includes fierce, bold, and eye-catching designs. When I saw this silk scarf in a video, I knew at that moment that I needed it. Those of you who know me a little bit, know about my passion for sculls, bats, and other dark things. This piece has it all. Though I need to admit that it was an adventure to find it. To my surprise, the Gucci store in Duesseldorf didn´t have it. I also didn´t find it online. Actually, at that point, I began to give up. Thank God, one friend of mine who works at Breuninger (a designer shopping mall in Duesseldorf) found it online in their store. Of course, I ordered it at once et voilà, now it’s mine.

Details to the silk scarf by Gucci from spring 18 collection

This silk scarf is very soft and feels amazing on the skin. Though it is quite big (92×92 cm), it looks very delicate and feminine when wrapped around the neck. As you can see on the pictures, it´s richly decorated with numerous slogans and motives, such as skulls, UFOs, whales, dragons, rabbits, and other creatures. In the middle of the scarf, there is a big slogan which says “blind for love Gucci” which is the name of the whole collection. There are also two different available colors of this scarf. The beige and the pink one. To me, the pink Gucci scarf doesn´t look as cool as the beige one. Obviously, I´m not the only one who sees it this way because there is only one beige “blind for love” scarf available online at Breuninger in Germany. The pink version is still in stock.

I am so hooked on this pretty thing and can barely stop looking at it and touching it. The best thing is that it´s very versatile and can be worn with almost every outfit. Still, it ´s unique and will make every look special.
