How to kick-start your morning

Hi, beauties! How often are we going to be as productive as possible staring with tomorrow? Productivity also includes such things getting up quite early and feel fit and energized. But this is all just a theory. The truth is usually different, because the new day begins, and the eyes do not want to remain open. So, a super productive day is postponed until tomorrow, over and over again. But actually, you can do something to start every morning in the right, a healthy and productive way. So, what should you get used to in order to be as productive as you want?! Here are some tips that help me to kick-start my mornings.



Never press the “snooze” button

The worst thing you can do is wake up with the alarm clock, but we remain realistic because unfortunately, not everyone can afford this luxury to be woken up by the sun and fresh air only. So, when the alarm goes off, the seduction to press the “snooze” button and stay in bed for another 10 minutes is extremely large. Those 10 minutes sound almost magical. But in the truth that is exactly the wrong thing to do. No matter how big the temptation is, you should still get up without waiting any longer. To be more precise, you should sit down in bed and not remain lying. Why? Well, the magical 10 minutes may seem like a kind of relief from fatigue, but it doesn’t do anything for your body at all. This time is not enough to get you fitter and provide more energy, rather the other way around. Afterward, you´ll feel even more tired and have a much worse mood for sure. So, don’t wait and hope for something you´ll never get, just overcome yourself and wake up sitting up slowly. Oh yes, you should drink a glass of water at this point too.



Neck, shoulder exercises and light massage

To wake up faster and feel fit, I do neck and shoulder exercises every morning. I slowly turn my head to the left and right, slightly stretching my neck, shoulders, and arms, then I massage the scalp with my fingertips. After that, lymphatic face massage is my personal go-to thing. It not only helps me to wake up faster. But also, to look a lot fresher.

20 minutes of morning qigong

Next, I do 20 minutes of Qigong. I used to do these exercises every morning, currently, I´m doing them 3 to 4 times a week. I have to tell you that this brings at least as much energy as a cup of freshly made ground coffee. When such loud words come out of the mouth of such a passionate coffee drinker like me, that means a lot.


Drink plenty of water and only then have breakfast

I drink water again about 10 minutes after the exercises. Of course, you should drink as much as you feel is right for you. For me, it is often 750 ml of water that I drink before breakfast. During this time, I prepare something delicious to start the day off. One of my favorite recipes is the microwave oat-banana cake. Well, the recipe for the cake is quite old, I still make it at least a few times a week though. The good thing is that it tastes really good, is super easy and quick to make, and keeps you full for a long time.

The most important thing for a great day

You can make a good basis for a productive and amazing day, but without a good mood and a little optimism, it won’t work. It’s not for nothing they say that everything starts within us. For this reason, you should prepare yourself for a nice day immediately after waking up and just be grateful for all the things you have in life because all of this shouldn’t be taken for granted.
