Hi, beauties! What prints would you describe as the most risky and aggressive one to wear? I´m sure that many of you thought of the leo print because I definitely would. This print is one of those which often look quite aggressive and cheap. There are many factors why it earned such a reputation, but one thing is clear, there is no other print which is as expressive as this one. Some people love it, the other ones hate it and don´t even think about trying it on. But even if you like wearing leo print you still should be cautious in order to look stylish instead of looking raunchy and cheap. Knowing some easy tricks you can even down style it to your normal everyday outfits without making people suffer a heart attack.
Leo print is a tricky one
I think that the leo print is very exciting but quite complicated too. There are women like Kate Moss who wear a leo printed vintage faux fur coat and look like rock-stars and there are all others if you know what I mean. Unfortunately, I really think that way too many leo printed pieces look very cheap and dirty. To avoid it, you need to pay attention to the fabric quality. It has to be qualitative and never should be stretchy. Stretchy fabrics, mesh and see-through materials always look cheap it doesn´t matter how expensive those pieces actually are. Skintight cotton dresses are also not the best idea speaking of the leo print. Frankly, I´ve never been a fan of see-through blouses either. Additionally, to be on the safe side while wearing any leo printed piece, make sure it´s the only statement piece in your outfit.
I´ve literally spent years before I found a leo printed piece I would love and want to wear. I tried on so many of them but never felt like it was the piece, if you know what I mean. The dress by Na-Kd is the only one leo printed piece I have in my wardrobe and it´s the only piece I directly felt absolutely comfy in. It looks the most innocent way a leo printed piece can possibly look. First of all, it´s a midi length. Second and third, it´s a flattering fit paired with long sleeves, no cut outs, and a short turtleneck. Additionally, there are ruffles on the skirt which make it look girly. Still, paired with right shoes and accessories it can be sexy too (find it here).

Tame the leopard for your everyday outfits
If you play with wild cats, you should keep your distance. This rule is applicable to the leopard print as well, especially if you want to down style them for your daily outfits. That means that the intensity of the surrounding pieces in your outfit should be minimized to neutral or basic. For example, white, black or beige blazers will compliment a leo printed dress in a great way. In late fall cozy oversized sweaters in neutral colors will make printed dresses and skirts very girly looking, especially if you´ll pair them with flat boots or chunky sneakers. I decided for a sporty touch and chose an olive-green parka and beige/white chunky sneakers. This combo turned out to be very catchy and vibrant without looking too aggressive or raunchy. Who else wants to try out the leopard print for a daily outfit?
