Jeffree Star is very productive and not even the corona crisis seems to bother him. Some time ago he brought out a brand-new makeup collection. This time around, wishes were heard from those for whom all of the previous eyeshadow palettes were too colorful or too dark. It’s about the nudes! The collection included two eyeshadow palettes, a large and a mini palette, lip glosses, face powder, and a lot more, including merchandise. I went for the large eyeshadow palette that I ordered on Beauty Bay as always. When compared to the other Jeffree Star palettes, opinions on this one are mixed. But is it really a flop? Let’s take a closer look at the palette called “Orgy”.

The packaging:

Jeffree is back on the cover What I personally loved about Jeffree Star eyeshadow palettes were the exceptional packaging. Ok, maybe they weren’t very practical for on the go, but they were always an eye-catcher on every dressing table. The “Orgy” palette looks rather classic and the only thing where you can immediately tell which brand it is is the cover itself, on which Jeffree is depicted. On his YouTube channel, he said that he really wanted to be the model for his product again. The first time he was seen on the palette called Cremated. Everything looks good and good quality, but it’s not my favorite packaging. Even with the wild name, she’s pretty good. I feel like the creativity has run out on the peppery names of the eye shadows.

The eyeshadows: quality and shades

The palette consists of 24 different nudes, which range from very light to very dark. There are also color nuances in both warm and cool undertones. Surely you will look at them differently depending on whether you are a professional or a simple makeup lover. For me personally, the colors are a little boring. Yes, there are lots of great colors, but it would be nice if they weren’t all matte. Nonetheless, I don’t understand the criticism from some bloggers who complain that the colors are all the same. When the collection was presented, you could see what you were getting and how the pallet was filled. As for the quality, it has also been criticized. For my part, I cannot agree with the criticism, because all color nuances are well pigmented. Yes, some colors fall off a bit, but this was also the case with other eyeshadows. The “fallout” is not at all critical and therefore not worth mentioning from my point of view.

Is it worth buying the Orgy eyeshadow palette?

While Jeffree Star’s latest eyeshadow palette is the most neutral palette (that’s what so many makeup lovers wanted), it isn’t for everyone. First of all, not everyone needs so many neutral shades, especially when it comes to doing light, uncomplicated makeup. Second, the palette is missing something, such as a few unusual or shimmering colors. But if you are a professional makeup artist, you will appreciate this creation and you will definitely have a lot of fun with it. All fans of Jeffree Star or his makeup brand should maybe have them too. Personally, I don’t regret buying them. However, I hope that the brand’s next highlight will be something more exciting again. Only in this case will I strike again.

Love,

Daria
