Probably like every fashion blogger or even almost every woman I love shopping. But I like it only when I can shop slowly and easy-going. I like to have enough time in order to look around and make a decision whether I need a piece I like or whether I have something in my wardrobe to style it with. That is why I hate sales. Don´t get me wrong. I am also happy to get a nice piece for less money, but I hate being in an overcrowded place with chaotically hanging clothing or even worse, with numerous pieces which were put in a huge bunch. One friend of mine can find something special in every store during sales season and she loves the process of finding it. As for me, I just cannot do it. In that chaos I get a headache after 20 minutes. That is why I never took such events like “black Friday” seriously.
Last week I went to the shopping mall with a friend and remembered that I wanted to take a look at some skin care products by the body shop store. As we walked in, I was surprised as many products were sold 40 % off. That was the moment I realized that it was black Friday. So, I could purchase the products I wanted to have and even more and get a discount of 40%. On that same day, I also could find the missing Christmas presents for my family and all this by spending significantly less money than I expected. The best thing is, that I could do it in the way I like shopping, taking time to look at the product and thinking a little, whether it is something I really want to have. I am happy about all the presents I could get and the money I could save. Did you make some deals on black Friday?
Speaking about my today´s outfit, you would probably guess that this is my second look photographed in the beautiful city Hamburg. As I was fascinated by the Speicherstadt and wanted to take my photos in that place. To say the truth, this district is so beautiful that it could be the perfect setting for almost every photo shooting. As you probably know, it’s always much colder by the water, so I decided for my favorite khaki oversize coat, which is just perfect for fall. I love the combination of oversize coats and white sneakers, so I styled my coat with the classical version of Nike. My big scarf suits pretty nicely with the coat and the comfy light sweater creates a color contrast which make the layering in my outfit more visible and give the whole outfit more complexity. As my stay in Hamburg was a touristic one, I took my “never full” bag by LV. The bag is so big that it makes it the best travel partner ever.

How do you find oversize pieces? Do you often wear them?
