Last week I celebrated my birthday. Originally, we wanted to go to Paris, but we changed our minds at the last minute. I decided to spend my birthday in one of my favorite cities in the whole world, Amsterdam. Though the weather wasn´t as good as we hoped, but we made the best of it. At the end of June, I didn´t actually think it wo uld be only plus 16 degrees Celsius accompanied by an icy wind. My warmest clothes were a leather jacket and a hoodie. I think there is no need to describe in details how I froze to the core. I also wanted to shoot some outfits there, but I had to postpone it ‘til warmer days because I simply couldn´t stand walking outside in crop tops. Nonetheless, I succeeded in taking a few pictures of my birthday outfit which I want to share with you in today´s post.
A film-star suitable overall with a cape for the birthday celebration
In my family we have a tradition which is to purchase a new outfit to all important events. I always chose something new for my birthday and this time wasn’t an exception. Last year, I decided for an overall for the first time. This year, I unconsciously kept on the topic and purchased a gorgeous overall with a cape. Actually, I prefer wearing dresses for my birthday but this overall was so unique and looked like a red-carpet piece. You can find it here. The overall is such an eye-catcher that I decided to keep the rest simple. I added a black purse, slightly-glittering pumps and earrings with tassels. The best thing about this amazing overall is that it´s extremely comfortable which is quite rare speaking of the evening robes. This special day for me was perfect and my outfit was on point.
