Hi, beauties! For sure, you´ve heard about and seen slouchy boots. They look pretty cool, right?! Meanwhile this trend went further and spread on clothes. Here they are, amazing slouchy jeans and pants. What makes them so special, why you have to have them in your wardrobe and how you wear them right, let´s make it all clear!
The jeans you should have and wear this season
When I saw this cut for the first time, I was sure that I would never wear something like that in my life. I didn’t really want to try them on. But then, I got more and more questions and requests on Instagram about how to wear these jeans and what to pair them with. That’s how I discovered slouchy jeans. I put together several outfits with just one pair of jeans (you can still find them in the “Fashion” highlights on Instagram). It was planned to show the outfits and never to put the jeans on again, but then I surprisingly realized that I actually liked the jeans. So, I left the store with two pieces, although it wasn’t planned. What makes these jeans special is the fact that they look super casual, but do not change the proportions of the body (like boyfriend jeans do, for example). In addition, the cut flatters the figure and makes it visually slimmer.

While choosing slouchy jeans you should keep in mind the following:
These jeans create extra volume on the legs, which means that they could look less flattering on smaller and voluminous types of the body. In addition, you should always think about the proportions, especially if you don’t have bigger boobs. This is e.g. my case. For this reason, you should choose wide croptops or even oversized tops. An oversized shirt will look incredibly beautiful. However, you should stick it in your jeans. This creates a nice contrast and emphasizes the upper body, the narrow waist and beautiful hips.
If you choose a tight-fitting croptop, you should wear a straight-cut or an oversized blazer. This trick always works perfectly, because the proportions are balanced out and underneath the blazer you look much thinner.
In this case, too, details play an important role. I personally would always put an extra accent on the waist with a belt. This makes the waistline incredibly slim looking.
Set the right accents
For my today’s outfit with slouchy jeans, I chose a cropped sweater. First of all, it’s pretty extraordinary. Secondly, it fits perfectly with the jeans in terms of color and length. The XXL trumpet sleeves create interesting proportions that look very advantageous. So, we have volume in the right places and an additional accent at the waist. I chose a brown cross body bag and a brown belt. My new Dr. Martens boots give the outfit that sparkly, yet streetstyle-casual moment.
There are a lot more slouchy jeans-based outfits coming. So, you will have plenty of styling options. Do you already want a pair of slouchy jeans?
