“Vital C” by I Image – review

As I have a kind of dull and often dehydrated skin, I love using skin care products which not only provide a good hydration to my skin but also give it more luminosity and a natural glow. All this you can get using products including vitamins. So, the vitamin C is well-known for providing skin with energy and making it look fresher. That is why I prefer using skin care products with vitamin C in spring and summer. When I first saw the skin care line “Vital C” by I Image I knew, I had to try it out. The line is created for a dry, dehydrated, and sensitive skin. It also contains antioxidants which help to reduce and protect skin from harsh environmental stressors.

The main advantage of the line “Vital C” is its blend of natural botanical ingredients which provide a high protection and nourishment to the skin. For a test, I chose the following products from the line: the hydrating facial cleanser, the hydrating anti-aging serum, the hydrating repair crème, and the hydrating facial oil. I have been using this bench of products for a while and can give you my review on them.

Hydrating Facial Cleanser

This product removes makeup and other impurities very softly and will suit even a very sensitive skin.  It has a creamy consistency and should be applied on a wet skin and lightly massaged with circular motions within one minute. Every time I use it, I enjoy the feeling of a smooth skin without any tightness or dryness. It also perfectly removes all my makeup and nourishes my skin thanks to the antioxidants which protect dry and sensitive skin.

Hydrating Anti-Aging Serum

A hydrating serum that incorporates the new technology of oil-soluble Vitamin C with the highest bio-availability to immediately soothe the visible effects of environmentally damaged skin. Its light texture lets the product be absorbed within seconds. My skin gets so smooth every time I use it. I like applying it both morning and evening. I also really like the great citrus scent the product has. It´s so summery!

Hydrating Repair Crème

This night crème is the perfect skin care addition to the hydrating anti-aging serum. Together they provide great and visible results. The crème contains the vitamins A, C, and E which help to nourish the skin and make it look more radiant and fresh in the morning. To me, it´s the perfect evening skin care for summer, as the texture of both products is ultra-light.

Hydrating Facial Oil

Facial oils belong to my skin care routine; however, I prefer using them in winter. That is why I was a little bit skeptical about this product at first. The facial oil by I Image is supposed to be very lightweight and be suitable even for a skin care in summer. So, I picked it as well. First of all, this oil mostly contains natural ingredients, such as moringa, sea buckthorn and grapeseed oil, which is perfect for me. It even smells differently than other products from the line, like sea buckthorn. By the way, this ingredient is known for firming and nourishing skin greatly. It is even recommended to be used during the pregnancy in order to minimize the risk of strain gauges appearance. Though I really liked this product, still, I cannot use it with all other skin care products in summer. From time to time I use it alone, applying one dropper on my skin when I feel tightness or my skin is irritated. I´m pretty sure that I will return to this product in winter, as it is a great helper against the dry and dull skin.

Conclusion:

I really like the “Vital C” skin care line by I Image. I´ve tried so many skin care products with vitamin C which didn´t do anything to my skin or just weren’t that good. But these products really work and make my skin better and smoother day by day. From the whole line, I personally like the hydrating anti-aging serum and hydrating repair crème the most because they are so lightweight. They can be easily used in summer as they are absorbed within seconds and don´t leave a thick layer on your skin. My skin looks and feels better and I like it. As for the facial oil, I will use it for sure when it gets a little bit colder outside.
