Hi, beauties! An oversized shirt is the best piece you probably can have in your wardrobe. Not only is it very comfortable, but you can always put this piece of clothing in the limelight styling both cool casual outfits and the amazing ones for your night out. Although I personally wear the classic combination “white shirt + jeans” most of the time, I sometimes like to experiment with this staple piece.
Layering with the white shirt
I love to combine black and white. A white shirt suits so well for such combos. The oversized cut also makes it possible to use such a shirt for cool layering looks. So today, I made a pretty ordinary combination “a shirt + a sweater” the other way around. I took a cozy black turtleneck as the basis for the outfit and put on my white shirt above it. To make it look more organic, I rolled up my sleeves and left a few buttons open at the top. So, you can see the layers much better and the black/white contrast is also more visible.

To complement the top, I chose light paper-bag pants, which are a great highlight in itself. Black booties with a block heel complete the look and make it symmetrical and coherent. Colors can also ensure symmetry because the symmetry is responsible for making an outfit look more elegant. A gray bag makes the outfit complete. It doesn’t distract with its color but makes a nice statement with its details. Such an outfit is a stylish savior for the days when it is cooler, but you still don´t want to put on o a trench coat.
