Hi, beauties! How is it going? You’ve probably been on quarantine or self-isolation for a while now. No matter how you name it, it’s pretty tough. I personally have always classified myself as someone who likes to stay at and work from home. But only now do I realize how much I miss my normal, ordinary life. Just going to a clothing store and having a look around or enjoying a cup of coffee in a cozy café would be so nice. Actually, these are small things, but now they seem so big and important to me.
In times like these, it is especially important to stay positive and to help yourself emotionally in order not to fall into a kind of depression. Today, I’ll tell you what I do at home, how I keep myself fit, and what’s going on in my life currently.
Use the time for yourself, because being busy keeps sadness and melancholy away
If you get bored and the only thing you´ve been doing is staring into the air or binge-watching TV, you´ll get that quarantine-blues pretty quickly. You just have way too much time to think about stupid things. But you can also spend your time differently and getting something from it. So, I started to acquire various activities and healthy habits into my life months ago.
I regularly did qigong at home and then I went to have my usual workout after breakfast in the gym. Now, I cannot afford this luxury cause everything is closed, so I make sure that I am active at home. Every day I do spinal exercises (to ease my back pains), do sports and pay attention to 30 active minutes per day. That keeps me fit and I also feel great without leaving the house.
I started learning Dutch in January. Now, I have a little more time for the language, and I do learn it as much as I can. Of course, I also love to write posts for the blog and Insta. So, my day is filled up pretty well. You can finally start something you always wanted to do, e.g. learn a foreign language, start practicing yoga or just clean out the apartment. Believe me, you´ll feel great after doing it.

The last warm look for this season
Although I love this cocoon coat so much and the shoot for this outfit in Berlin was just great, I have to say that I am very happy that it is getting so much warmer in Germany. I really hope that I have worn this and all other warm coats for the last time this season and that from now on they will go on a long vacation until next autumn. If you don’t have a cocoon coat yet, consider adding one to your wardrobe for next fall. This type of coat is a huge all-rounder. I wore mine really non-stop. But from next week there will be great spring looks for you to get inspired even if the current circumstances are kinda challenging. As you know, beauty and fashion can conquer everything.
