Hi, beauties! This year I decided to try as many new things as possible. So, I started learning a new language. Soon, I´m gonna take drum lessons and my Instagram account has something new to offer. Every Monday, I make a new post for my brand-new series “history of fashion” where I tell about different times and characteristic clothes, accessories, and so on at that time. What makes it special is my simple and sometimes hilarious way to give historic facts. I already made posts dedicated to ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. In case you also want to take a little adventurous trip to different fashion epochs, you can follow me via @daria_dbk_stylez.
For sure you know that I celebrated the new year 2020 in Amsterdam. Though the city is amazing and has a special atmosphere, the weather there can be quite unstable and tricky. It can be cold and moist at the same time. I already know the drill and always take warm clothes when I go there. Still, this time I got another new coat.
A blanket coat – super stylish, super warm
I always found the blanket-coat trend quite cool. Still, I never intended to purchase any of these coats for myself. Still, the weather in Amsterdam and seasonal sales made me change my mind. I ended up buying a nice and comfy long coat by Stradivarius. I never expected the quality by the brand to be that nice. This puffer coat is super warm, trendy, and I got it on sale.
It seems to me that I spent my whole time in Amsterdam wearing this coat. Its XXL collar makes it so special and unique. When I close only one upper button, I instantly get the perfect blanket-coat look. Cropped jeans and white ankle-boots round up the outfit and make it very street-style-ish.
I´m weaing: coat by Stradivarius / sweater by Zara / jeans by Bershka / ankle-boots by Zara / bag by Hallhuber /
By the way, an elegant belt bag adds something special to the outfit and you get a chance to hide your hands in warm pockets. This is how some trends get into your life even if you don´t expect them to.
Wie findet ihr den Look? Ist der Blanket-Mantel was für euch?
